Thoughtful conclusion to an interesting series. His own understanding and embrace of his life as an “agnostic Catholic,” stood out to me the most. I don’t know that I’ve ever heard some articulate that perspective as well as he has done, and though it sounds odd at first, I imagine many would share his view.
